Since its inception in 2008, Sri Pratyaksha Charitable Trust has steadily expanded its impact, evolving from a small group of volunteers into a network of programs that span education, healthcare, social welfare, and cultural preservation. With the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swamigal, the Trust has established Pathashalas that blend traditional Vedic teachings with modern education, launched health initiatives for the underserved, and worked to protect sacred temples and heritage sites. This journey, marked by compassion and a spirit of service, reflects the Trust’s unwavering commitment to transforming communities and upholding dharmic values.

A nuclear engineer by profession. Having done a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, from the Annamalai University, he joined the International School for Nuclear Engineering and Sciences, Argonne National Laboratory, University of Chicago, USA, for his advanced studies in nuclear engineering.
Shri Balu, held the position of Director of Nuclear Recycle group, in the BhabhaAtomic Research Centre, Trombay Shri. Balu continues to be a consultant to theIAEA and the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Govt. of India and continues toLend his expertise and experience to the Regulatory Body of the Country. He is also a Member of an Expert Appraisal Committee of the Ministry of Environment & Forests, GOI, constituted especially for siting of the Strategic Facilities of the Department of Atomic Energy. Most recently he served as a Member of the Expert Group, constituted by GOI to study the Safety Aspects of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Station, and allay the fears of the people of that area concerning the safety of the environment around the Plant.
Completed Engineering from Annamalai University and Masters inMarketing Management from Madras University. He served as the project head inShriram Engineering Group for several waterpower and metallurgical projects. Healso set up a Renewal Energy Company with European collaboration and retired asManaging Director. Presently continuing as a group consultant with ShriramEngineering Group. He is Chairman of “Aanmeekasamajam Sathsangam” and Trustee of Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Avadi, Trustee of Lions club of Avadi charitable trust and several other Vedic Charitable trusts
Involved in the Service of Sri Periyava since 1969. He held several senior positions in Indian Railways. He is also a philanthropist. Despite his advanced age he guides and supports the activities of the trust with his rich experience.
Fondly called as T. R. Mani has held several senior positions in companies like SMITH KLINE & French, Malhotra international Ltd, Butterfly, Kanchan Bombay, Pigeon Bangalore. He retired as a director, Mr. T. R. Mani served not only Agarwal Eye Hospital as director but also in several other boards. He plays a very active part in the trust by supporting the initiatives to preserve, protect and propagate our rich Indiantradition and culture.
